The Slaughterer and Hell Boar are enemies in Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. They are a type of anthropomorphic porcine.

Slaughterer

The Slaughterer (Fat Slaughter in the Japanese version) is an hog-like savage beast. His main attack is spewing a fireball upward in an arc, but when approached he can also perform a big straight punch.

His soul, Max Straight, allows Soma Cruz to perform quick straight punches on enemies.

Hell Boar

The Hell Boar, as indicated by its name, is a boar-like savage beast. It is the counterpart of the Slaughterer, having the same two attacks but exchanging the way they are performed. While the Slaughterer spews fireballs in an arc, the Hell Boar does so in a straight manner; and while the Slaughterer punches straightforward, the Hell Board punches upward in an uppercut, which deals far more damage.

His soul, Max Upper, allows Soma to deliver an uppercut to enemies up close, inflicting high damage. When executed on Zombies or Ghouls, their torso and head will be torn apart from their bodies and fly far up in the air.
